 Treasure Bay honors commitment to service
BILOXI — Treasure Bay Casino
and Hotel recently honored top Crewmembers for the second quarter of 2022. Nominated by their peers and supervisors, Crewmembers
are recognized for their dedication, achievements and commitment.
Justin Sawyer, front desk clerk, was named Crewmember of the Quarter, and Glynn Griffin, bench technician, was named Supervisor of the Quarter. Sawyer has been with Treasure Bay three years, while Griffin has been with the company for 17 years.
“Justin is an exceptional crewmember,” said Casey Emery, hotel operations manager. “He is polite, friendly, and very efficient at his job. But what makes him stand out is that he builds relationships with our guests. It’s that personal touch they like — and we have many comment cards and

reviews that speak to this. Justin does everything he can to maintain a high quality of work. We are very glad to have him on our team and look forward to many more years working with him.”

ton of knowledge and there is not
a game he can’t fix. Recently, he stepped up to manage the tech shop taking on a variety of extra duties, including dealing with vendors, endless paperwork and communicating with other departments. Glynn has always been there when we need him.”
Nominees Carolyn Jasmin, Roxanne Johnson, Libby King, Rachel Ladner, Stacey Shackett, Daniel Skelton, Joe Vittur and Edward Watson received
a cash award and Treasure Bay gift
card. Sawyer and Griffin each received a cash prize, engraved trophy, a day
off with pay, and a reserved parking space. Both are also eligible for the Crewmember of the Year award.
    Honored At Harrah’s
Francis Sean Hamilton Dedeaux
Harrah’s Gulf Coast named its Team Members and Supervisors of the Month for March, April, May and June. In March, Francis Hamilton, EVS, was named Team Member of the Month, while Sean Dedeaux, table games, was named Supervisor of the Month. Crystal Carrigee, special events, was Team Member of the Month, and Jennifer Trahan, housekeeping supervisor, was Supervisor of the Month for April. In May, Leah Masauding, housekeeping, was Team Member of the Month, and Amanda Whitney, surveillance, was named Supervisor of the Month. And in June, Tony McCarty, food and beverage, was named Team Member of the Month, and Jeffrey Glascoe, EVS, was Supervisor of the Month. Winners and nominees are nominated for their accomplishments each month.
     Gold Strike announces Star of the SHOW employees for second quarter
TUNICA RESORTS — Gold Strike has announced its Star
of the SHOW recipients for the second quarter. To be named a Star of the SHOW is to receive the highest form of property- level employee recognition at the casino resort.
The word SHOW comes from “smile & greet” (S); “hear the guest story” (H); “own the experience” (O); and “wow the guest” (W).
For the past two years, supervisors have been nominating employees who go above
and beyond in their roles. A committee reviews nominations and selects the Stars of the SHOW for each month.
