Appreciation Day
Hard Rock Biloxi hosted an appreciation
day for employees in March. Employees, who were given a T-shirt to wear with jeans for the day, were treated to a special shift meal in the buffet, allowed to park in guest parking and given the chance to win prizes, such as eight hours of PTO and gift cards. Hard Rock Biloxi attributes its success to its dedicated, hard-working employees.
Employee Fun
Employees at Silver Slipper Casino Hotel had a full day of activities recently when the property hosted an employee appreciation event that included a health fair. Property directors grilled burgers and hot dogs for lunch, and employees also enjoyed ice cream and cookies. The event included door prizes and a raffle. Healthcare and insurance vendors from Mississippi and Louisiana provided screenings and tests and gave employees important information. The Blood Center’s bloodmobile was on hand and a record amount of blood was donated by employees.
View Squad
In March, Island View Casino Resort set aside a day to honor and appreciate the dedication and efforts of its entire team. Everyone received T-shirts, affectionately dubbing them the “View Squad.” Each shirt bore the message: “VIEW SQUAD: Individually, we are special. Together, we are spectacular!” Additionally, employees were treated to ice cream in the employee dining rooms, adding a sweet touch to the day’s festivities.
