D’IBERVILLE — Several Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort employees were honored with Associate of the Month awards for the beginning of 2023. Craig Fountain, maintenance tech II, was named Associate of the Month for January, while Alena Wynn, surveillance operator, received the award for February, and Nicholas Ashford, steward, was honored for March.
Fountain has been employed at Scarlet Pearl for six years
and Wynn has been
with the resort
for three years. Nicholas has been at the property nearly six years.
Additionally,
Raekenya Wright,
housekeeping
supervisor, and
Travonte Chandler,
EVS supervisor, received Supervisor
of the Quarter honors for the last two quarters in 2022. Scott Howell, bakery sous chef, was named Supervisor of the Quarter for the first quarter in 2023.
The associates received a number of prizes, including $500, a hotel night stay, restaurant meals, 24 hours of paid time off and special parking by the associate entrance for one month.

In February, the front-of-house Employee of the Month was Skylar Ritchie, slot floor person, and Byronnesha Thomas, EVS housekeeper, was the back-of- house Employee of the Month. Felicia Carpenter, cage shift manager, was named Manager of the Month.
February nominees included Braxton Moore, security assistant shift supervisor; LaTonia Collins, marketing coordinator; Eva Lowery, count team lead; Jayme Coca,
PBX reservationist; Alvin Shows, table games dealer; and Bill Bellau, facilities shift supervisor.

March nominees included Russell Chilton, slot floor person; Melissa Buchanan, assistant cage credit manager; Sarah Rihner, buffet
food server; Victoria Snyder, PBX reservationist; Carla Roscoe, warehouse supervisor; and Arlene Jackson, buffet cook.
Nominees and winners each received gifts and prizes, including cash and gift certificates.
