Beau Rivage names Roberts risk management director
BILOXI — Beau Rivage Resort & Casino announced Angie Roberts as its new director of risk management, overseeing all operations for
compensation claims, investigations, compensability decisions, litigation, financial evaluations, auditing and client claim reviews.
In her new
role, Roberts will be responsible
for mitigating exposure to loss by
the property’s
risk management
department and
leading the corporate Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reporting function in all jurisdictions at
the direction of MGM Resorts International’s corporate vice president of risk management.
Roberts began her career
at Beau Rivage in 2010 as a senior revenue audit specialist and continued to grow in senior positions until 2018, when she joined a third-party administrator overseeing compliance of
state regulations on workers’

developing processes, tracking trends, managing claims and communicating awareness across property for loss prevention. Additionally, she will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory data of all insured property in Beau Rivage’s possession.
Roberts received a bachelor’s degree from Capella University in Business Administration and holds several licenses and certifications in compensation and claims adjusting.
WaterView Casino
hires new directors,
promotes one
VICKSBURG — WaterView Casino Hotel announced
one promotion and two new hires at its Vicksburg property. Jeff Scott was promoted to casino security manager, while Josh Getz was hired as director of IT and David Lee was hired as director of facilities.
Scott has 14
years of experience
securing and
maintaining a safe
environment for
casino customers.
Specializing in security
and management,
he uses that
expertise to grow and
develop employees while placing them in a successful position.
Scott has risen through the ranks from security officer, EMR and supervisor to his management
position, and uses
that knowledge to make sure WaterView is one of the safest places for gaming and entertainment.
Getz comes to
WaterView with
almost 15 years of
experience in the
gaming industry with
a large part of that time spent at Mount Airy Casino in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, and Hollywood Casino in Morgantown, Pennsylvania.
Lee has been in the casino industry for 30 years. He started his gaming career at Harrah’s Casino in Vicksburg in 1993 as a facilities tech. Over the years he has worked at Isle of Capri Vicksburg as a maintenance tech, and then Riverwalk Casino, before coming to WaterView Casino.

Spa announced several appointments and one
promotion recently. Leon
Lagoberto Leon has been named director of food and beverage operations for the Greenville casino. An industry veteran, Leon has more than 25 years of industry experience, encompassing all aspects of hotel and F&B operations. President

and General Manager Roscoe Greene said, “Lago’s expertise and vast knowledge will be a much welcomed addition to the team.”
Additionally, Roy Gordon
was named executive casino
host. He has worked in the
gaming industry for 25 years. And, Jacqueline McNeal, who has 30 years of hospitality and customer service, has been promoted to casino host.
