What, where, when was your first job in the gaming industry? My first job was casino accounting clerk at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas in 1999.
What do you like best about your current job? The team that I have the privilege to work with at Gold Strike is what I like best about my job. It is a culture of family, teamwork, and looking out for one another. They are true professionals that work tirelessly to provide exceptional guest service to our customers.
What is the best piece of business advice you ever received and from whom did you receive it? Look at your business through the lens of a customer and experience their journey. It is a details business, and you need to know the details of your business to ensure it operates the way you envision.

Don’t be short-sided in thinking about career growth. Promotions and pay will come. Learn as much about the business as you can, not just in your own department but about all areas of the business.
What is something you do each day just for yourself? Listening to music
at high volumes in my car, on my way to work. Typically, Guns and Roses, Metallica, or other hair metal bands.

How do you define “success”? For me personally success is balance, enjoying what you do and the ability to make an impact in the lives of others. In business, success is defined by clarity around measurable objectives that everyone can understand and self-assess.
What is it about the gaming industry that makes it a good industry?
The gaming industry is excitement, entertainment and experiences. We are in the business of “fun.”
