Silver Slipper employees celebrated with annual awards
HANCOCK COUNTY — Silver Slipper Casino Hotel held its 2021 Employee and Supervisor/ Manager of the Year banquet
in January at the Diamondhead Country Club.
All 2021 nominees were honored before the winners were announced.
Heather Rogers, buffet
server, was named front-of-house Employee of the Year, and Christie Pittman, executive administrative assistant, was named back-
of-house Employee of the Year. Terri Hoffmann, table games shift manager, was awarded 2021 Manager of the Year.
A team player known for her reliability, Rogers jumps in to help wherever she can. She is a favorite of guests, who often request to sit in her section and will readily wait for a table to become

available. Rogers also makes work fun for her team.
Pittman started out as a Player Services supervisor before moving to
the executive administrative assistant position. Known for her integrity, dedication and ethics, she is a respected representative of Silver Slipper, and
also assists food and beverage, human resources and marketing with various
duties.
Called “the heartbeat of the table
games department,” Hoffmann does what is necessary to make the table games department successful, including scheduling, managing day shift, assisting employees, handling payroll and more. She also carefully follows compliance requirements and is fair in her decisions involving customers and employees.

Tunica Top Employees
The two Tunica Penn National Gaming properties recently named their Employees of the Year. Jonelle Figaro (left center), human resources generalist, received the honor for Hollywood Casino Tunica. She has been at the property for one year. Stephanie Parker (right center), a cook II at The Silo, was honored at 1st Jackpot Tunica. She has been with Penn Gaming since 2014.
