Horseshoe team delivers holiday food to seniors
TUNICA — Horseshoe Tunica team members donated and distributed almost 200 bags of food to area senior citizens. Additionally, the team members volunteered at a food pantry in November.
Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, the team members personally delivered the
care packages to elderly residents in Tunica County
and Horn Lake to help alleviate food insecurity and ensure the recipients enjoyed a hearty Thanksgiving meal. The seniors welcomed the Horseshoe team members, appreciating not only the food, but also the meaningful visits.
The team members also
volunteered their time at the Tunica Food Pantry, which provides food assistance to families in Mid-South counties. Those volunteering their time helped organize donations and worked directly with community members needing food provisions. These efforts helped ensure families in need had enough for holiday meals.

   Turkeys and Hams
Bally’s Vicksburg donated turkeys and hams to several organizations during the holiday season. Haven House, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Salvation Army and River City Rescue Mission each received a share of the donated items. Pictured are River City Rescue Mission personnel accepting the goods from Bally’s team members.
