Honored At Harrah’s
Harrah’s Gulf Coast named its Team Members and Manager of the Month for October and November. For October, Walter “Nick” Hackman, senior marketing specialist, was named Team Member of the Month, and April Prosser, national casino marketing manager, was named Manager of the Month. For November, Travis Bell, groundskeeper, was named Team Member of the Month, and Casey Paro, marketing manager, was named Leader of the Month. The winners received gifts and Total Return credits that can be redeemed for prizes.

Island View names VIEW winners
GULFPORT — Island View Casino Resort named several staff members as V.I.E.W. Service Achievement certificate honorees. The V.I.E.W. (Value, Initiative, Excellence, Wow) Service Achievement program recognizes employees who offer exemplary guest service at the Gulfport resort.
Among the group of outstanding employees recently selected were Ashtin Fetcho, table games; Bernard Fuller, public areas; Brandi Smith, employee dining; Dion Thomas, The Sundry Shop;
James Evans, front desk; Kayla Stubbs, call center; Ranada Givens, The Gift Shop; Sonia Miller, public areas; Thomas Brancecum, production cook, Beach Blvd Steamer; and Withell Malcom, hotel housekeeping.
Each winner received a certificate of achievement and a $65 gift certificate
to be used at several Island View Casino Resort restaurants, including The Buffet, C&G Grille, Prime Cut, Carter Green Steak House, Beach Blvd Steamer and Dockside Deli.
Quarterly team members awarded at Trop Greenville
GREENVILLE — Trop Greenville named its Team Members of the Quarter for the third and fourth quarters of 2023. The winners, celerated for their positive energy, attitude and work ethic, were announced at team member events.
For the third quarter, Team Members of the Quarter were Laverne Hardy, slots; and Selina Goodman, security. Nominees included Gladys Smith, Carrie Sanders, Rena Nellum, Sandra Scott, Portia Culpepper and Michael Jones.
