Treasure Bay honors commitment to service
HANCOCK COUNTY — Treasure Bay Casino and Hotel recently honored top crewmembers for the fourth quarter
of 2023. Nominated by their peers and supervisors, crewmembers are recognized for their dedication, achievements and commitment.
David Martino, Sports Book manager, was named Supervisor of the Quarter, and Vickie Scott, accounts payable clerk, was named Crewmember of the Quarter.
Martino has been with the company
13 years. “With a strong knowledge of table games and great guest service, he quickly worked his way into a manager position. David’s knowledge of the subject, understanding what bets people like to make, and the ability to talk sports with anyone at any time is what makes him a great asset. We appreciate all that he does for us, and he is a big part of the success of our Sports Book,” said Jamie Mitchell, director of casino operations.
Vickie Scott has been with Treasure Bay for three years. “Vickie does an excellent
job with us in finance,” said Jerry Bellocq, accounting manager.
But it’s the enthusiasm she brings to work every day that makes her so special. For example, this fourth quarter, we had Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Vickie made it her mission to transform the entire finance office into a holiday wonderland each month. This lifts the spirits of the staff and everyone who comes into the office.”

Clarisse, Gerald Gernados, Peggy Graves, Jerrica Heard, Roxanne Hill, David Hughey, Gabe Peters, Koshena Powell, Roudy Ryerson, Darius Stallworth, Patreace Tucker, Devon Watson and Dale Williamson received a cash award and
Treasure Bay gift card. Scott and Martino each received a cash prize, engraved trophy, a day off with pay, and a reserved parking space.
Both are also eligible for the Crewmember of the Year award.
Team members, leaders lauded at IP Casino
BILOXI — IP Casino Resort Spa recognized Team Member of the Month winners for October, November and December. Part-Time Team Members of the Quarter and Team Leaders of the Quarter were also honored.
In October, front-of-house Team Members of the Month were Edith Miller, Boyd Rewards executive host; Amanda “Mandy” Petterson, Senses Spa &
Salon lead esthetician; Carrie Barrett, sportsbook cashier; and Gregory Ball, custodian. Back-of-house winners were Kristina Faircloth, statusboard operator; Warren Rowe, carpenter; and Jimmy Johnson, slot technician.
Vinetta Butler, cage cashier; William Collins, cage cashier; and Fredderick McDonald, security, were front-of-
house Team Members of the Month for November. Logan Perkins, surveillance; Kevin Nguyen, teppanyaki cook; and John Alderson, lead technician, were back-of- house winners for November.
In December, front-of-house Team Members of the Month were Joyce Pieper, retail; Brandon Cuellar, casino housekeeping; and Rebekah Fowler, spa. Back-of-house winners were Melissa
Roberta Jordan was named a Team Leader of the Quarter.
Fanugao, hotel sales; Kimberly Lane, facilities; and Ron Vohwinkle, surveillance.
Kathy Richburg, hotel, was named Part- time Team Member of the Fourth Quarter. And, Team Leaders of the Quarter were Dinah Lee, soft count; Roberta Jordan, finance; and Lea Owensby, surveillance.
Along with being recognized, winners received a certificate of recognition, award plaque and name tag, $75, three $75
gift certificates for dining, special parking privileges, and a recognition banquet. They will be entered in a Team Member of the Year drawing.
