Hard Rock names new security, loss prevention director
BILOXI — Hard Rock Biloxi announced the hiring of Landon Phillips as director of security and loss prevention. In this position, he is responsible for the overall safety and security of Hard Rock guests and employees, as well as protecting and securing all property assets.
Additionally, the director of security chairs the property’s safety committee and sits on the compliance committee.

Phillips also has the responsibility of mitigating corporate risk by working closely with the Hard Rock attorney to develop, implement and enforce policies designed to protect the corporation.
His goal is to make the Hard Rock Biloxi security team the best it can be by instilling confidence in the staff through training and experience while
Phillips began his career in gaming
as vice president of security for Grand Casino in Gulfport from 2001 to 2005. He then became an original employee at Hard Rock, where he was vice president of security in 2005. He remained at the property through the recovery, rebuilding and grand opening after Hurricane Katrina.
Phillips has 25 years of law enforcement experience, most recently serving as the Chief Deputy at the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office before retiring in 2015.

Peter Dang named

TUNICA RESORTS — Penn National Gaming named Peter Dang as multi-property director of casino operations
for Hollywood

Born and raised in New Orleans, Dang began working in the gaming industry in 2005 as a dealer at Bally’s Casino New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina in August 2005, he returned to the New Orleans area in January 2006 and began working at Boomtown New Orleans.
During his time there, he worked in various roles throughout the casino operations department, including dealer, dual-rate table games floor supervisor, table games floor supervisor, table games trainer, slot shift supervisor, dual-rate assistant casino manager, assistant casino manager, and most recently, casino manager.

Vicksburg. Throughout her career she had been a revenue auditor, revenue audit supervisor, casino accounting manager, financial analyst and regional director of revenue before being promoted to director of finance at Harlow’s.

sister property, Riverwalk Casino Hotel in Vicksburg, gaining experience in several departments, including table games, slots, internal audit, marketing and more. In December 2020 she began a second rotation in internal audit at both Riverwalk and Harlow’s, and was soon promoted to Harlow’s senior internal auditor.
Dantin holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, and is working towards a Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in human resource management from Delta State University.

Redmond started working at Harlow’s in 2010 as a security officer, although two years later
he was promoted to the position
of promotions and entertainment coordinator. In 2015 he went to
work at Trop Casino Greenville as promotions and entertainment manager. Two years later he returned to Harlow’s as promotions and entertainment coordinator. Most recently, he worked as a casino host.
Skinner comes to Harlow’s from Maine where she worked at Oxford Casino. She has an associate’s degree in accounting from Andover College in Portland, Maine.
