TUNICA – Last month, celebrity chef Guy Fieri opened his first restaurant in Mississippi with Guy Fieri’s Tunica Kitchen + Bar at Horseshoe Tunica. The new restaurant at Horseshoe brings the taste of Fieri’s big and bold flavors to the Mid-South.
Sure to be a big culinary attraction, Guy Fieri’s Tunica Kitchen + Bar offers the famed chef’s signature American- style cuisine. The menu includes his signature Trash Can Nachos along with a hearty selection of signature burgers, sandwiches, and desserts.

Guy began his love affair with food at the age of 10, sell- ing soft pretzels from a three- wheeled bicycle cart he built with his father called “The Awesome Pretzel Cart.” Fast forward six years and Guy had earned enough money to pursue his dream of studying abroad in Chantilly, France, where he gained a profound ap- preciation for international cui- sines and further strengthened his passion for food.

Fieri returned to the United States and graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Hospitality Management. Upon his graduation, he jumped headfirst into the challenging restaurant business, ultimately opening his own casual dining concepts in Northern California.
In 2006, Guy won Food Network’s popular television competition show, “Next Food Network Star,” and was awarded his own television series, the Emmy nominated “Guy’s Big Bite.”
Since that time, the now-famous chef has taken food tele- vision by storm as host of top-rated TV shows including the iconic, Emmy-nominated “Diners, Drive Ins & Dives,” “Guy’s Grocery Games,” “Tournament of Champions,” “Guy’s Ranch Kitchen,” and his new series “Guy’s Ultimate Game Night.”
