WSOP Circuit returns to Horseshoe Tunica
Runs April 21 through May 2 with satellites daily and 16 numbered events
TUNICA - The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Event returns to Horseshoe Tunica April 21 through May 2. It features 16 numbered Ring Events, including a $1,700 buy-in main event with $600,000 guaranteed prize monies, and mega satellites with prizes that include seats in numbered events and even the main event.
The tournament at Horseshoe Tunica is part of the 2021- 2022 WSOP Circuit and marks the second stop for the WSOP at Horseshoe Tunica this year.
Ty Stewart, senior vice president and executive director of the WSOP, said, “The WSOP-C is one of our most important initiatives, allowing regional players to experience big-time poker and providing grinders a platform to earn a living.
We’re pumped up about the new ‘Tournament of Champions’ format where all our winders will come together for one event. Just win and you’re in!”
Before the official event kicks off, there will be
a casino employees NLH side event on Wednesday,
April 20 at 6 p.m. with a $100 buy-in. This is an exciting opportunity for casino employees to be involved in the storied tournament series.

WSOPC Satellites feature $75 buy-ins and are scheduled daily April 21 through May 1, twice a day most days, start times vary. Main Event Satellites have $250 buy-ins and are at 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 and at 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday, April 29 as well as 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 30.
