Mama ‘N’ Em, Stats, The Buffet, Bistro 24 have something for any taste
CHOCTAW — Pearl River Resort has lots of enticing restaurant options to suit just about any taste. From a buffet to a steak house and everything in between, diners visiting the resort in March will come away winners.
• At Golden Moon’s Mama ‘N’ Em Southern Table & Bar, enjoy a casual and comfortable atmosphere where the restaurant staffers even wear blue jeans. Dine at Mam ‘N’ Em and find fresh Gulf seafood like redfish and oysters as well as such favorites as fried chicken, dumplings, meatloaf, burgers, and thick-cut bologna sandwiches. Mama ‘N’ Em is open Saturdays 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sports fans can find plenty of munchies, beer and tailgate specialty drinks at Stats Sports Bar & Grill in the Silver Star Promenade, along with a plethora of high-definition sports action. Enjoy such offerings as burgers, wings, barbecue, sandwiches, salads and beverages. For more information on Stats, call (866) 447-3275, ext. 33808. Stats has happy hour available Monday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. with food and drink specials.
• The Time Out Lounge/Sportsbook Bar at Golden Moon has sports on many flat screen monitors along with plenty of food and drink selections that include bar-food favorites like hamburgers, hot dogs and pizza. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.
• Fine dining can be found at Silver Star’s famous Phillip M’s.
Southern cuisine at Mama ‘N’ Em Southern Table
The restaurant, named in honor of late Tribal Chief Phillip Martin, offers everything from fine steaks to fresh seafood, an extensive wine selection and decadent desserts. There is plenty to whet any appetite. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:30 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4:30 to 11 p.m. Reservations are recommended. • In addition to the steak house, Pearl River Resort is home to The Buffet. The Buffet at Silver Star Hotel Casino is now open on Fridays from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. It is closed Sunday through Thursday. The self-service restaurant features such favorites as fried chicken, catfish, freshly carved prime rib, a variety of home cooked vegetables, fresh salads and desserts. Check out the food stations for Asian cuisine and pizza, too.
• Bistro 24 is a popular choice with guests at Golden Moon Casino & Hotel. It offers a variety of choices from traditional sandwiches to enticing steaks cooked to order. Breakfast is available all day. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
