TUNICA — River Band Links at the end of Casino Strip Boulevard in Tunica Resorts is offering rates in March that are sure to please.
River Bend Links is a par 72, 6,900-yard Scottish link-sytle course featuring lakes, sand, grass bunkers and strategically placed mounds.
Golf course architect Clyde Johnston describes his River Bend Links course as “a field of dunes.” It was built next to the Mississippi River where a bounty of animals still inhabit the area, during the round players may see a deer, fox, or wild turkey.
River Bend Links was originally created through an unusual alliance of three casinos and is now privately owned and operated.
Rates for nine holes:
Monday-Thursday: $23 ($20 after 3 p.m.) and $20 for ages 60 and up. Friday-Sunday: $28 ($20 after 3 p.m.) and $23 for ages 60 and up.
Rates for 18 holes are:
