 Celebration T-shirt Day
Associates at Palace Casino Resort and The Preserve Golf Club celebrated several “best of...” awards recently and were given specially designed T-shirts. The Biloxi property won more than a dozen “best of” awards
in a variety of categories from regional publications.
         Olympic Excitement
Twenty-eight Beau Rivage employee teams across many departments participated in the property’s Employee Olympics, held in July. The Bag Boys (above) came in first place, with House 1 (top right), ExpAIRience Defeat (middle) and The House 2 coming in second, third, and fourth, respectively. 2 Legit 2 Quit received the Spirit Award. All proceeds from the event benefit the MGM Resorts Foundation.
  Team Member Appreciation
     WaterView Casino Hotel shows appreciation to team members with weekly drawings for prizes. Once a week, two winners are selected to pick three items from the prize box in the EDR. Prizes include household essentials, such as cleaning supplies, laundry care, dish detergents, air fresheners, and paper towels along with other gifts. Additionally, team members with perfect attendance each month have the chance to receive $100.
  Ping-Pong Playing
Harrah’s Gulf Coast hosted its second annual Ping-Pong Tournament to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s
disease and the upcoming Walk To End Alzheimer’s event. Team members who made a donation participated in the three-day tournament. The top three winners received prizes, and the first-place winner, Brian Hebert, even competed against General Manager Jonathan Jones. Scottie Hebert secured second place and Chris Bowe finished third.
