Community Contributions
Boomtown Casino Biloxi and sister property Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast make donations each month to various community organizations. Between the two properties, donations in the second quarter of the
year were made to Mary Queen of Vietnam Church ($2,064.72), Mississippi Aquarium ($1,500), CASA South Mississippi ($1,954.88), Back
Bay Mission ($1,109.28), Biloxi Firefighters Support Fund ($2,017.15) and the Bay St. Louis Police Department Fallen Officer Fund ($3,710.64). With checks presented to organization officials by property executives, the money is raised through guest donations of casino ticket-in, ticket-out vouchers.
Play For Change
Gold Strike Casino Resort served as a sponsor of the 2025 Memphis Walk to End Alzheimer’s held in November. The Tunica property also contributed $16,500 to the Tennessee Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. The funds were raised in three months through the Gold Strike Play for Change program. “We’re proud to support the Alzheimer’s Association and the critical services it provides across the Mid-South,” said Alfredo Jaramillo, interim general manager at Gold Strike. “By coming together for this cause, we’re helping drive early detection, reduce risk and maximize care for families who need it most.”
