 TRENDS & INSIGHTS
SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS
A Story of Strategic Investment in Student Success
Our scholarship strategy focused on degree completion, increasing aid for seniors by 5% to comprise 32% of all disbursed funds. This initiative aimed to remove financial barriers crucial for student retention in later academic stages (National Student Clearinghouse Research Center). Juniors received 29% of the allocated aid. Additionally, awards for graduate students, including master’s (4%) and doctoral (2%) candidates, were increased by 4% to promote advanced education. Thirty-six percent
of scholarships were granted to first-generation students, underscoring our commitment to equity, given the critical role of financial aid in their enrollment and persistence (Pell Institute).
