THIRTEEN THURGOOD MARSHALL COLLEGE FUND MEMBER SCHOOLS RECOGNIZED AS FULBRIGHT HBCU INSTITUTIONAL LEADERS
 The U.S. Department of State announced its
Fulbright HBCU Institutional Leaders for the 2023-24 academic year. Thirteen of the 19 honorees are Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) member schools.
Fulbright HBCU Institutional Leaders are selected based on their
engagement with the Fulbright program. The initiative was established to recognize and commend the strong partnership between the Fulbright program and HBCUs. It also recognizes HBCUs that host international faculty and graduate students, as well as send recent graduates, graduate students, faculty and administrators overseas to study, teach, conduct research, or participate in seminars abroad through Fulbright.
“The Fulbright program showcases some of the best and the brightest students and scholars and we’re proud to see so many of our member schools represented in this distinguished group of institutions,” Dr. Harry L. Williams, president & CEO of TMCF, said.
  The TMCF member schools honored as 2024 Fulbright HBCU Institutional Leaders are:
• Alcorn State University (Mississippi)
• Fayetteville State University (North Carolina)
• Florida A&M University (Florida)
• Howard University (District of Columbia)
• Jackson State University (Mississippi)
• Lincoln University of Pennsylvania
(Pennsylvania)
• Mississippi Valley State University (Mississippi)
• Morgan State University (Maryland)
• North Carolina A&T State University (North Carolina)
• North Carolina Central University (North Carolina)
• Prairie View A&M University (Texas)
