EEquitable Holdings and AllianceBernstein partnered with TMCF to create the Spotlighting Bright Futures program. Equitable has been a committed supporter of TMCF, attending events such as Leadership Institute, the Teacher Quality and Retention Program (TQRP) Summer Institute and DevCon.
For over a decade, this partnership has been fruitful for both organizations, resulting in summer internships, full-time employment, budgeting and retirement workshops for teachers in the field, one-on-one student consultations, recruitment and networking. Through aligned values, Equitable, AllianceBernstein and TMCF have created lasting impact.
Jeffrey Hurd is the chief operating officer of Equitable Holdings and a member of its Management Committee. Previously, he had a nearly 20-year tenure at AIG, where he amassed deep industry experience in his roles as COO, chief human resources officer, chief administrative officer and head of asset-management restructuring. In addition, Hurd served as the chief administrative officer and general counsel for AIG
Investments and as interim CEO of AIG Global
Real Estate. He has held a variety of board positions, including at United Guaranty, a leading mortgage insurer, and AIA Group, a top insurance company in Southeast Asia. Hurd currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
