   Congratulations
Thurgood Marshall College Fund 38th Anniversary Gala
October 4, 2025
As Mayor of Washington, DC, I am pleased to welcome organizers, attendees, and honorees of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s (TMCF) 38th Anniversary Gala. We celebrate an organization whose impact transcends generations and whose vision continues to transform the arc of opportunity for our scholars.
For nearly four decades, TMCF has stood as a champion for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). The enduring legacy of this organization not only lies in the opportunities it unlocks, but in the futures it shapes. Investing in scholars who will set the course of innovation and progress in every endeavor, this Gala is a tribute and testament to the enduring power of education to alter life trajectories and uplift communities.
To the honorees being celebrated, your vision and commitment is a shared embodiment of TMCF’s charge to transform potential into power and to turn aspiration into lasting impact. Donors, partners, and supporters ensure that students from every walk of life have not just the chance to attend college, but the opportunity to thrive and lead, and to reimagine what is possible for themselves and for others. This work helps plant seeds of change by cultivating leaders who will carry forward a legacy of progress for generations to come.
Once again on behalf of the more than 700,000 residents of Washington, DC, congratulations to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF). Your investment will help dismantle barriers and cultivate pathways.
