Creativity has always been part of Dorothy Roberts’ life. From
jewelry-making and music to decorating and supporting local artists,
she has long believed that beautiful things have the power to inspire.
That passion led her to open Robin’s Nest In The Pass, a boutique
that has been celebrating 10 years of offering thoughtfully selected
gifts, home décor, and unique treasures. Roberts also enjoys giving
back by supporting local nonprofit organizations and showcasing
artists whenever possible. She hopes every customer leaves feeling
refreshed, inspired, and already planning a return visit to the peaceful
shop she lovingly created.

Opening Roberts Place Café was Dorothy Roberts’ way of
honoring her late parents, Lawrence and Lucimarian Roberts,
whose military and community service left a lasting impact on Pass
Christian. After retiring from a career as a social worker, Roberts
embraced the challenge of learning the restaurant business from
the ground up. Four and a half years later, the café has become
known for its homestyle cooking, welcoming atmosphere, and family
history displayed throughout the space. Roberts’ advice to aspiring
entrepreneurs is simple—surround yourself with people whose
strengths complement your own, keep learning, and remember that
lasting success is built one day at a time.
