About This Issue
Happy March, y’all! One of my favorite seasons is almost here, bringing the promise of lush greenery, vibrant blossoms, and peaceful rainy days with a good book and a glass of sweet tea.
This month also marks our annual Home & Garden issue, featuring several beautiful homes including the newly-completed home by Coastal Contracting that graced this month’s cover. Our team had so much fun decorating this kitchen and bringing it to life! And, yes, snacking once the photo shoot had ended.
In addition, this special section has some helpful tips on gardening (not from me as I have an unfortunately brown thumb), from edible landscapes to tropical flora and more. If interior décor is more your style, we have some great articles about decorating your outdoor spaces, elevating the look of your ceilings, and patterns and textiles to consider in your 2025 redecorating!
If you’re looking to buy a new home or sell your current one, be sure to check out our Real People of Real Estate profiles! Within the Home & Garden section, you’ll find some of the Coast’s top residential and commercial realtors. You’re sure to find the perfect fit.
This month we bid adieu to our long-time dining writer, Kimberly Rasmussen. For her last review with us, she wrote about her all-time favorite: thirty-two. While we are sad to see her go, we are so thankful for her time and talents that she has lent to us over the years. Love you, Kim!
Next month, we welcome Anne Pitre to the team. Anne is perhaps best known for her position at the Hancock Chamber, though her passion for the Mississippi Gulf Coast food scene is close second. We look forward to
her takes on the newest, most unique, and perhaps most hidden culinary gems.
