Booker Fest (named for musician James Carroll Booker III) is back at the iconic
100 Men Hall, (one of the last standing buildings on the Mississippi Blues Trail!) from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1. Enjoy good food, good music, and good drinks. Tickets are available for a single day or the whole weekend. Come see incredible performances Friday-Saturday and end the weekend with a comedy brunch Sunday morning. Tickets start at $30.

This musical adaptation of Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel (and the popular 1985 Steven Spielberg film) spotlights Celie, a downtrodden young woman whose personal awakening over the course of 40 years forms the arc of
this epic story. The musical adaptation was nominated for 11 Tony Awards. Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted. General admission is $25.
