Ginger Felder Cook realized from a very young age that
she loved being creative. “I’m always thinking of a new or innovative way to do something,” she says. “I was always very good at problem solving and making connections. If I put my mind to something, I’m unstoppable. So I knew early on I’d likely be an entrepreneur.”
Cook is thrilled to be back working full time doing event planning, interiors, and design this year.” In so many ways, I feel like my career is just getting started,” she adds.
The most fulfilling part of her career is building relationships with her clients. “I absolutely love my clients,” she says. “It’s such a pleasure getting to know the people I work with and have the opportunity to bring their vision to life. Many of my clients have become lifelong friends.”
To those looking to pursue their own passions, Cook says, “Don’t ever think you need someone else to make your dreams a reality. It’s up to you and you only. And if something seems too good to be true... it usually is!
Listen to your gut. When you get knocked down, make sure you get back up even stronger.”
A wife and mother herself, Cook says she is inspired by just how strong and capable women can be. “I’m always so amazed by female entrepreneurs raising families and running businesses,” she says. “ It’s no easy task and most do it with ease. It’s just so impressive to me.”
In addition to her family, Cook’s greatest successes have been being voted as the best event planner on the Coast for 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
