Born and raised in Jackson County, Kelly Pendergrass Hunter decided to return to her roots after she graduated from law school.
Now as a practicing attorney for over 20 years, what Hunter enjoys most is her ability to connect with her clients. “People who need my services are generally going through the most stressful and traumatic time of their lives,” she says. “It’s important to me for them to know that someone is standing beside them. No one should have to face the uncertainties of litigation alone.”
While she prides herself on the success of Hunter Dubrow, PLLC, the mother of two says that her sons, River and Baylor, are her greatest successes.

Cynthia Carter Dubrow calls the Mississippi Gulf Coast home and is the fifth generation of her family to do so. She had the privilege to travel the country as the wife of a service member, but found that there was ultimately no place like the Mississippi Gulf Coast and she made her return home shortly after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina
Dubrow and her law partner, Kelly Pendergrass Hunter, opened their doors in 2016 and have been blessed with a thriving practice since. Dubrow says, “Working with one of my best friends in the world and knowing that we are making a difference for children on the Mississippi Gulf Coast makes me proud of the work we are doing.”
She is the mother of three beautiful children and says they are the joys of her life – her career in law is just an added bonus.
