Fried Green Tomatoes. Thick cut slices of green tomatoes are battered, fried, and served with remoulade and adorned with grilled Royal Reds and Cajun cream sauce. All of Woody’s appetizers can standalone as incredible choices, but the entrees are equally tempting.
Blackened or grilled Mahi tacos are perfect for the seafood lover in your group. Sliced cabbage, pico de gallo, and a creamy lime dressing set off this dish that goes great with any of Woody’s awesome sides, although I suggest the Tumbleweed onions. If you are looking for a dish on the lighter side, the Pan Seared Salmon with dill sauce is perfect! It is served with grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, and black bean salsa. It’s an excellent upscale choice without breaking the bank or your caloric intake.
But let’s be honest. If you are going to Woody’s, you know what you really want is one of their signature, house-ground burgers. Woody’s burgers range from specialty blends, such as the Bison Burger featuring bison and angus beef and the Cajun burger, with andouille and angus beef, to the crowd favorite Crusin’ Burger, piled high with fried jalapeños, bacon, and two Woody’s Cheese Bombs. My personal favorite is the Big Ben, which is layered with house balsamic mayo, bacon, tumbleweed onions, and crumbled blue cheese.
