Tammy Harrell was inspired to pursue a career in insurance by being a role model for her daughter.
Her greatest successes have been breaking down the doors of a male dominant industry to become one of the top producing agents
in the state, and helping other women succeed in this business.
“The reaction when I
tell people their insurance will cost way less than they expected is what I enjoy most about my work,” she said.

Kyra L. Rogers preserves flowers from special events, or ones that hold a special meaning. She loves being able to capture memories in a non-traditional art medium to people. “No two pieces are ever remotely the same, and the infinite creative possibilities excite me every day!”
Rogers knew from an early age that she wanted to work hard to seek out what she loves doing, and she has refused to settle for less.
She believes that the most important advice for future female business owners is to focus on their mental health. “Don’t forget to make time for yourself to relax,” Rogers says.
When not creating works of art, Rogers also homeschools her children full-time.
In her few spare moments, Rogers loves wandering around the Bay and finds herself often visiting Ruth’s Roots, numerous art events, and festivals.
