Dorothy Roberts was inspired to open Robin’s Nest in the Pass to satisfy her creative nature and to sell the works of other artists. Her latest venture is Roberts Place Cafe located next door. “I enjoy being part of the business community in a town my parents loved.”
She retired as a social worker to follow her business dream. “When my mother, Lucimarian Roberts, passed and my sister, Robin, was critically ill at that time as well, I reflected on the brevity of life. It was during that time I chose to retire from state service and head my life in a different direction.”

Eun-Chee Lee moved from South Korea to Louisiana as a teen. She received her bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry
As an orthodontist, she strives to recreate her own orthodontic experience with her patients by identifying individual needs while developing a close connection. In her free time, she enjoys working out at barre classes, traveling, and trying new foods. But her favorite thing to do is spend time with her friends and family.

What I like best about what I do is: I like meeting new people and connecting with my customers. But what I love about what I do is working with the girls that I work with. Without them, it wouldn’t be Ocean Springs Mercantile.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career? When I managed a high- end couture boutique in Texas, I learned a bird’s eye view of retail. The women that I worked with gave me instruments to connect with my customers on
a personal level, and inspired me to be the business owner that I am.
