What I like best about what I do is: Helping people find the perfect gift for that special someone or celebration.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs: Surround yourself with people who have skill sets you don’t have. Build a team to help support the mission of your business.
What’s something interesting about you that not many people know? People might not know that I have a little character named “Daisy Dana” who emerges when I want to make people laugh!

What I like best about what I do is: I find it very rewarding to help a person find the perfect gift or item for their home.
It’s important to support other woman-owned businesses because: As you give support to those who need it, you will become fulfilled yourself and can get the support you need in return. Sometimes just talking things through with a friend in a similar line of work can make things seem clearer.

Alicia Preston is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She grew up in Biloxi and is a pastor’s wife, mother, and entrepreneur. She took a leap of faith in 2018 and transitioned from a career in the government to launch Traveling Grace, LLC, a non-emergency medical transportation company. Her vision was to invest in a
fleet of vehicles and provide a solution to the growing need for transportation in the community she grew up in. The company was awarded contracts with Medicaid Brokers, providing services to the Southeast Region of the Gulf Coast.
In 2020, just as the business began to thrive, sadly her oldest son passed away. While grieving the devastating loss, she had to make a decision whether to pause the business or to carry on. Indubitably relying on her faith in God, she continued to press forward in pursuing her passion. In doing so, she has found new meaning and purpose in serving others, as she can relate with many in their pain and suffering.
She enjoys spending quality time with her family as well as ministry outreach activities that provide opportunities to give back to the community.
