As a third-generation cosmetologist, Lauren Riley has been around hair and makeup for her entire life. Riley began as a teenager just doing her friends makeup but quickly realized that she could turn this passion into a career like her mother, grandmother, and aunts.
“These three women have pushed me to be a better stylist, person, and woman. They continue to teach
me new things every day. My aunt specifically still works with me to teach me all things pixie cut!”
Riley’s favorite part of the job is seeing new, beautiful faces and being able to boost people’s confidence. She loves being able to make people smile.
She believes that supporting
other women is the key to success. “Someone once told me, ‘There’s room for everyone in this world, so do what you love.’ That saying has stuck with me and I’m so thankful that I have other women to lean on when I need help,” Riley explains.
Riley considers her greatest successes to be her continuing education in cosmetology. “You never stop learning. I’m fortunate to be able to continue my education to be able to offer more services to my clients!”
