My greatest business strengths are:
The ability to adapt to any situation and surrounding. Being thrown into five rough situations: wiped out by Hurricane Katrina, struggling during an economic crash, the
BP oil spill, algae bloom, and now COVID forced me to adapt and do what needed to be done to keep my businesses going. From this, I gained strength in knowing I could get through anything life threw at me – natural or man made!
In five years I would like to see my business: Having just celebrated 22 years
in business, I would love for my publications to continue to be some of the leading entertainment publications on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I would also like to see our Krewe of Salacia grow to be an outstanding representation of the ladies of our Mississippi Gulf Coast, not only during mardi gras season, but all throughout the year as we work to give back to our community.
The best advice I’ve ever received:
Stay true to yourself and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something! You can do anything you put your mind to as long as you work hard, give it your all, and are kind and thoughtful to others. “Succeed or fail, you can never fail yourself as long as you gave it your all!”
I chose this particular business because:
They say to take what you’re good at and learn how to profit from it, and that is so true! I was great at living life to the fullest and hosting special events. Now I’m able to give our locals and visitors a broad range of fun and excitement so they can enjoy our beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast in its entirety!
My inspiration comes from: My love
of life and the love I have for our beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast! I feel so blessed with each day we are given. And to top that off, we live in one of the most vibrant, beautiful, talented, friendly areas of the world!
