This month marks our most anticipated issue of the year: Women in Business! Gracing the pages of this magazine are hundreds of amazing, business women, leaders, mentors, family members, and entrepreneurs. Each one brings their own talents, strengthening the tapestry that is South Mississippi. These women are the backbone of the Coast.
In celebration of this issue, we typically host a mixer as well as
a photo shoot featuring the year’s Women in Business. Last year, however, we were unable to host this event due to COVID-19. We are thrilled to have been able to bring this event back this year. Special thanks to Beau Rivage Resort & Casino for hosting the event, as well as our vendors, Snaparazzi Photo, Alpha-Lit, Balloon Babe, and Sugar Tribe Sweets & Events. Thanks to these amazing businesses, this year’s event was the best one yet!
Women in Business is, of course, all about women. Inside this special section, get to know the amazing female leaders of the Gulf Coast, hear their stories, and learn more about their businesses. Also in this section, you’ll find articles highlighting Ingalls’ first female president, how to change career paths, tips for interviews and working from home, and how to stay refreshed while balancing a life and career.
Last but not least, Cruisin’ the Coast is right around the corner! This year marks the 25th anniversary, so get ready for some extra special events. In our Cruisin’ the Coast special section, hear from Executive Director Woody Bailey and check out this year’s schedule of events. This is one event that you won’t want to miss!
