My decision in becoming a State Board Licensed Aesthetician and Laser Technologist has been the best choice of my career. With over 20 years of experience working in medical and surgical practices, I was very fortunate to join one of the best group of physicians at Modern Dermatology & Aesthetics in 2016.
Working in an of ce that offers an array of aesthetic treatments ranging from lasers to injectables to skin rejuvenation is what excites me about my job. The most rewarding part of my day
is to be able to perform a transformation in a person’s life who has suffered for years with acne scarring, stretch marks, an inhibition concerning their body, or just a general unhappiness about their appearance. When they leave my of ce with a smile on their face and a fresh outlook on life, I know I am
in the right place. The happiness of my patients is my best marketing tool.
I’m consistently working to offer the best in medical aesthetic treatments and regularly train on new technology, products and procedures. I’m a rm believer in furthering my education and am always looking to bring in the newest and best treatments out there, which prompted me to received my Cosmetic Tattoo license a year ago. This license allows me
to do cosmetic tattooing, such as eyebrows, eyeliner and lip shading. I have multiple certi cations and extensive training with various cosmetic treatments, including laser hair reduction; photorejuvenation; face and body contouring, skin tightening, resurfacing and peels; vaginal rejuvenation (aesthetic & urinary incontinence); dermaplane; microneedling; specialized acne treatments and facials to treat various conditions; and eyebrow shaping and tinting. I set out to advise with complete honesty and form a personalized plan that best suits each person. The aesthetics eld is so much more than a job for me, it is a true passion.
In 2017, I became an active member of Costumes for a Cause (C4aC), a local 501-C3 non-pro t organization that hosts annual fundraising events to raise money to help local families in need of assistance while battling cancer or leukemia. In my spare time I enjoy boating and shing with my husband, getting a phone call from my son, who is an infantry assaultman with the U.S. Marine Corp., and spending time with family and friends. I like painting canvases and home decorating.
