What sets me apart from others in my eld is:
The salon industry is a rapidly growing trade, and I truly believe that staying fresh on new techniques and education is something that sets me apart from others. My team
and I are constantly growing our knowledge and sharing techniques with each other, which allows us to achieve superior results for our clients.
What I like best about what I do is:
The opportunity I have every day to build relationships with my clientele. Being behind the chair is so much more than “doing hair,” it’s actually a front row seat to endless milestones in a person’s life.
Advice I would give to young female entrepreneurs:
If you believe that you have what it takes to take the plunge into success, chances are you will probably even surprise yourself. Surround yourself with a power squad and you will be unstoppable.
My greatest successes have been:
Knowing when the time was right to nally focus on my own dream. It took an enormous amount of faith and a little bit of gut instinct, but making the decision to be a female business owner has de nitely been my greatest success thus far.
It’s important to support other women-owned businesses because:
The power of women encouraging other women to grow
is not only important, it is imperative! Women are far too often the victim of comparison to another’s ability to succeed in their goals. If we can all nd a way to lift each other up, imagine how great we could be. A fellow female business owner once gave me her best wishes by saying, “I hope you continue to grow,” and this simple statement continues to resonate with me on a daily basis.
