Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry
Dr. Kinyatta Bennett and her late husband and partner, Dr. Christopher Bennett, shared a dream: to open their own practice that was dedicated to patient service
and family dental care, while also being committed to community involvement. After their graduation from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, that dream became a reality.
With a lot of love and hard work, the two opened Healthy Smiles Family Dentistry
in June 2015. More than four years later, Dr. Bennett is still committed to helping
her patients achieve dental health and a beautiful smile, saying, “A healthier smile makes a healthier person. I like to take care of my patients’ needs in a caring, compassionate manner with a gentle touch.”
Dr. Bennett credits her success to her
talented staff, who are dedicated to addressing the dental needs of the whole family. “We have a children’s game room that allows kids to have fun while waiting, and we offer extended hours hours to ensure that we are available at convenient times that t work and school schedules,” Dr. Bennett said.
As the proud mother of three children – Christopher Bennett II, Briana, and Laura- Jae, who is currently pursuing a pre-med degree at USM – Dr. Bennett understands busy schedules. Her children are her inspiration in every step that she makes.
In her free time, Dr. Bennett enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and volunteering. She has a passion for mentoring youth, volunteering, and giving back to the community. On effort that is particularly close to her heart
is the Dr. Christopher Bennett School Supply Give Away, which Bennett founded in 2015 in memory of her late husband. She has been blessed to give away hundreds of book bags and school supplies every year, sharing her husband’s kindness with the community.
Dr. Bennett was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and is proud to
call this place home. She graduated from Harrison Central High School in 2001, then attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in biological sciences and a minor in chemistry. Her professional af liations include the National Dental Association, American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Society and Mississippi Dental Association.
