First things first. You’ll need to select your beads. We purchased some natural stone beads from Stone Man & Gem Lady in Long Beach

Start stringing the beads. If you’re using a center stone or accessory, you’ll need to tie the elastic through the loops on each side, knotting the elastic close to the loop.
Once you’re happy with your bracelet design, test to see if it’s the correct length. Be careful to hold the ends of the elastic firmly so you don’t lose your beads in the process. This is easier with help from a friend, or if you check the length against another bracelet that is the correct size.

Knot the elastic mulitple times. One of the best knots for this task is the surgeon’s knot.
