Tell us about the journey that led you to your current position: I grew up on the Coast and have worked in Gulfport at the same practice since 1991. I have served some hearing impaired families for more than 20 years.
What do you like best about what you do? Hearing is a sense that most people take for granted. When it is lost, it can severely affect communication with others. I enjoy helping people regain the ability to fully engage with their loved ones.
My Motto: “Lose yourself in the things you love for that is where you will find yourself too.” –unknown
Tell us about the journey that led you to your current position:
My career in finance started with 2 small finance companies,
I was there a total of 7 years. In April 2007 I interviewed at Community Bank to be a loan assistant. I immediately recognized
the work ethic that my mentor, Jimmy Estes, and then supervisor had and decided I would follow suit. I never knew what career path I wanted until then.
What do you like best about what you do? I love helping people, banking is personal and you get to know your customers so well.
What would you like our readers to know about your business?
Community Bank, Coast truly cares about their customers and employees. We’re all family here and you will have access to a personal banker.

My Business: PRN Home Care and Host of “The Unwrinkled Heart” Caregivers’ Journeys
My Motto: Never give to receive. You reap what you sow!
Tell us about the journey that led you to your current position: I began my career at Keesler AFB Hospital in the OB/
GYN clinic. After finishing Occupational Therapy school, we moved back to Biloxi. My husband, Dennis, and I realized we could make a bigger impact in the lives of our patients by providing care in their homes. So, we started PRN Home Care 20 years ago, providing adult sitters, homemakers, nurse aides, bath aides and transportation.
What do you like best about what you do? Helping caregivers care for their loved ones whether through providing adult sitters in the home or empowering them by providing caregivers’ information and resources.
What would you like our readers to know about your business? We are celebrating 20 years on the MS Gulf Coast; located in Gulfport and serving the whole area.
