The Mississippi Gulf Coast is known for cultivating talent in a wide variety of industries. From the arts to shipbuilding, the area is a launching pad for young women looking to further their careers.
As the public relations/media manager for Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast, Erin Rosetti knows the Coast better than

from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
“I always knew I had a passion
for connecting people and fostering synergies, and my mom saw those
gifts as well. One day she gave me a description of a typical public relations position, and I knew it was the right track for me,” she said. “Representing the Mississippi Gulf Coast in a positive light has always been one of my goals, and my position at Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast is the best opportunity to help shift perceptions about the region and, ultimately, the state.”
Rosetti carefully monitors current industry trends, capturing coverage about the area and including media placements involving Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast. “I respond to media requests for assets and interviews or media trips, host writers in-destination and showcase the area,” said Rosetti. “In between, I meet with partners to discuss interesting angles to proactively pitch about the Gulf Coast.”
Rosetti is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in business administration and
