My Business: I am Co-Manager at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. I am a licensed funeral director and embalmer and licensed prearrangement consultant for our firm.
My Motto: Whatever you do, do with kindness. Whatever you say, say with kindness. Wherever you go, radiate kindness. - Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Tell us about the journey that led you to your current position: I began my journey in funeral services at MGCCC where I earned my Associate’s Degree of Applied Science. I then interned with Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in 2012. I was named employee of the year for 2014 and promoted to co-manager in April 2017.
What do you like best about what you do? We have the opportunity to help families in trying times and serve our community with compassion. Helping others is something I take seriously. One of the ways I do so is by educating our community on the benefits of prearrangement.
What would you like our readers to know about your business? Bradford- O’Keefe Funeral Home is a family owned business that was established in 1865. We go to great lengths to ensure that every funeral is personal to each family. Our locations are staffed with licensed and trained funeral personnel who have genuine compassion for the families we serve.
Sara Kate Boutique
133 Davis Ave., Suite 1 Pass Christian, MS 228.222.4371
I feel blessed to be a part of
the regrowth of downtown Pass Christian for the past five years. We have a wonderful small town filled with such rich history. I am thankful to live in and be a part of such a great community that is exploding with growth.
I pride myself on having created
a boutique where three generations of women can shop. I love more than anything when a grandmother, daughter and granddaughter are shopping together and all leave my store with something for themselves. That is a great feeling!
I get asked almost daily if my name is Sara Kate and I have to explain that I am Sara and my daughter is Kate. She will turn 16 this December and is in the 10th
grade at Our Lady Academy in Bay St. Louis. You may catch her and her friends working in the store next summer.
With the store about to reach its 6th anniversary, my goals have
not changed. I still focus on a coastal casual feel which includes everything from clothing, shoes, jewelry, candles and gifts to several gourmet food lines.
I absolutely love what I do! Every day I come to work and enjoy talking and helping each and every client who comes in to look and feel their best!
