LETTER from the editor
September is the month we celebrate the women of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. They are leaders in every field, and it is our honor to pay tribute
to them. Their accomplishments are astounding and note worthy. We’ve learned that every facet of Coast life has a woman’s touch; there isn’t
any sector without women in leadership positions. Pages 38 through 145 comprise this whopping 107-page special section. It’s a record breaker that makes all of us at M2 Media Corp proud (and tired) to produce this edition. In the many personal profiles, you can meet and find out more about these amazing women. Additionally, there are stories about future women leaders who are already blazing trails, women in construction, the League of Women Voters, business etiquette and the power of networking.

And of course we must have a fashion story in
Wow! Thank you so much
for the great article on Les Masquees. The picture page is perfect, too! Your photographer was so professional and sweet. Your magazine is such a great representation of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and we are so honored to be featured in the July issue.

We had an outstanding cover photo shoot with 76 women coming out to enjoy each other’s company and participate at the Beau Rivage. We thank this beautiful facility and Mary Spain for graciously hosting us.
Lest the men readers feel left out, we have a great Sports & Outdoors section this month with golf, diving and kayaking stories. Plus, there are dining reviews, news about the upcoming Cruisin’ the Coast and a story about a multi-talented artist, Jerika Broussard.
Not to be overlooked is the special section for the Zonta organization’s 40 years of service in Pascagoula. They are again presenting their award- winning Zonta Festival and we have a map and list of vendors for you.
