My Motto: Treat others with respect and understanding.
Tell us about the journey that led you to your current position: In the past I worked at a CPA firm which prepared me for where I am today. Due to business growth and development a CFO position was created with SMS. It was the right time for me to take on a new and greater challenge.
What do you like best about what you do? The collaborative environment.
We all support each other and work together, offering creative feedback and making our ideas become realities.
What would you like our readers to know about your business? We are committed to providing healthcare
with the highest level of skill and compassion.
My strengths are: Strong analytic skills, paying close attention to details, multitasking, having patience with others and realizing there is more than one way to solve a problem.
One lesson I learned along the way:
Do the right thing for the right reason and things seem to always work out.

My Business: Located in the heart of Ocean Springs, Lola Fleur offers catering, thoughtfully prepared foods to go and delivery along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Tell us about the journey that led you to your current position: Some of my fondest memories are those
of my childhood, sitting on the counter watching and talking with my grandmother Lola as she prepared our meals. Many life lessons were learned there and to this day the kitchen is my favorite place to spend time with loved ones.
What do you like best about what you do? I cherish the relationships formed with customers. They return, not only for food, but for conversation. The majority of my business is from
word of mouth and that’s means a lot.
What would you like our readers to know about your business? Every aspect of Lola Fleur was designed and created with love. We offer something for most anyone and are here to make life easier; it doesn’t have to be hard to put a nice meal on the table for your busy family. Lola Fleur offers everything from grab-and-go family meals (let us deliver) to catering your next event.
Women who have inspired me: As a mother of three children, I’m constantly in awe of moms running a business. It’s tough, especially in the food industry. Women chefs such as Vivian Howard from my home state of NC, who are doing amazing things right now, all while raising a family.
