SeaGrapes Wine Café
2419 14th St. Gulfport, MS 228.867.2010 www.seagrapeswinecafe.com
What would you like our readers to know about your business?
SeaGrapes is an intimate café serving unique
wines by the taste, glass and bottle. I offer a
menu of Small Plates and Charcuterie Boards that pair well with wines, a full bar and a great group of musicians who perform nightly. SeaGrapes also has a private banquet
room upstairs that I have branded ‘The Vine Room.’ It’s perfectly suited for rehearsal dinners, wine tastings and small weddings and receptions. The look and feel of SeaGrapes as
a whole is comfortable and inviting.
What is your Motto?
Come Taste the Wine!
What do you like about what you do?
Being a restaurateur is a labor of love and very hard work, but I truly enjoy it.
I like entertaining, selling good products and creating wonderful surroundings.
I enjoy the guests and making their ‘going out’ experience a memorable one.
As a child, what did you dream of becoming when you grew up?
I wanted to dance with Gene Kelly, but I guess I became a different kind of entertainer.

About Me: My greatest business strengths are a degree in oral management from Mississippi State and growing up around owers at our garden center, Pine Hills Nursery. Being a recent bride, I can relate to brides and know what they are looking for.
In ve years I would like my business to be a well-known and respected event oral business on the Coast. My main goal is to have a reputation for being honest and easy to work with and to exceed the expectations of brides and fellow vendors.
The best advice I’ve ever received is
do not let the small stresses of your career take away from the joy of everyday life.
I chose this particular business because I grew up at the garden center with my family and loved plants and owers. I wanted to contribute to the family business, but also bring something new to the mix.
If I ruled the world, I would...try my best to give a voice to the voiceless and bring to light issues that could be solved. These would include injustices and suffering that we do not even know in the United States because we are so fortunate.
