           Entrepreneur Pat Fore Unveils PF3 Global Ready Mix

Since every inch of the Gulf’s shorelines and its marine life need to be protected, Fore created a marine division within the company shortly after the BP Oil spill in 2010. When tendrils of oil were found on a
loop in the Gulf and creeping toward the Mississippi and Louisiana shorelines, Fore felt he needed to help in anyway possible. He developed and patented shoreline protectors or Wave Attenuation Devices that were set throughout the Mississippi and Louisiana marshes for a Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority project. Those devices now protect more than 11 miles of wildlife habitat and restore the eroded shoreline.
“It was one of the few designs that NOAA bought,” he said, adding there were even a few concepts from actor Kevin Costner that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration passed on.
The entrepreneur and inventor provides community support through sponsoring Little League teams, donating to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and with a tuition scholarship at St. Patrick Catholic High School in Biloxi in honor of his late son, Landry, who passed away in 2021.
Fore feels his greatest accomplishment was becoming a father of five, two boys and three girls, and always being heavily involved in all of his children’s activities. “While I was acquiring and growing the business, I never lost sight of who I was and where I needed to be,” he said.
