 Shrimp and Grits.
Immediately the entrees started piling out from the kitchen, and just as quickly everyone in the restaurant was staring, trying to get a glimpse of dish after dish of Bozo’s deliciousness. The Gulf Flounder Dinner features a whole Gulf flounder, beautifully scored and perfectly fried. The Stuffed Snapper showcased blackened snapper topped with a Creole cream sauce and housemade, blue crab cakes. I thought this would be my favorite, but then came a plate of Bozo’s, Too’s newest addition: Shrimp and Grits. Creamy cheese grits were generously portioned into a bowl of house Creole cream sauce, sweet corn, and grilled shrimp. It’s absolutely a shrimp and grits recipe for the books!
The Steamer Boat Platter is a Bozo’s and Bozo’s, Too favorite with deliciously steamed shrimp, crab, corn, sausage, and potatoes. But still, the Fried Seafood Platter is one of Bozo’s, Too’s most infamous dishes where fried flounder fillets, fried crab claws, fried oysters, and fried butterflied fantail shrimp all come together in perfect fried harmony making up one seriously over-the-top platter.
Wash everything down with a Keith’s Bloody Mary or Ocean Water cocktail and under no circumstances should you pass up the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It might be one of the best things to come out of Bozo’s ever.
