PASS ROAD GREAT AGAIN
There's a section of East Pass Road in Gulfport that's getting a much needed face lift by two local entrepreneurs. Chiropractor Jeremy Jernigan and businessman Ivan Spinner joined forces to revitalize a section of this busy thoroughfare between Red Oak Drive and Debuys Road.

They became interested in improving this section of Pass Road in 2018 when Jernigan was looking to expand his practice. “I got advice from my business partner, Ivan Spinner, for potential new locations when I knew I had outgrown my Debuys Road location,” he said. “We saw an empty store front building on East Pass Road and inquired. The location and square footage were perfect for
what we wanted and for future growth. After discussing and negotiating, we formed SpinDoctor Properties, LLC and
purchased the building and the empty lot just west of it.”
Once the empty, aging building was renovated and became the new home
of Jernigan Chiropractic Clinic, the partners immediately saw the potential for this neglected area. Soon after, Garlon Pemberton and HP Development began on the new building which now has Hot Worx, The Cotton Patch, and the future Coast Day Spa.
“Then we acquired the old Pinkston Music Store,” Spinner says. “HP
Development did an amazing job renovating and transforming it into the Executive Office Complex, private office suites and conference rooms for business owners and professionals.”
Seeing the long needed transformation of the area take place, the partners didn’t want to stop there. Along with builder Garlon Pemberton, Spinner and Jernigan acquired three lots just east of the Executive Office Complex and are currently developing two 7,500-square- foot spaces that will be the home of
