Life is picking up again in South Mississippi, evidenced by
all the school supply shopping I’ve been seeing lately! The excitement seems to have reached its peak – kids are looking forward to their return to the classroom, just as we’re all looking forward to the community events that are slowly becoming more regular.
Speaking of events, we’re finally bringing back our calendar of events! Our readers have been asking, and this month it’s back. While shorter than it has been in the past, events have been picking up every month and we hope to bring you a full calendar again soon. Got an event suggestion? The August issue of South Mississippi Living combines our Business & Industry and Main Streets, Chambers & Downtowns special sections in a new edition called Coastal Commerce.
This recurring issue will serve as a platform for celebrating the Coast’s ever-improving quality of life, new developments, and thriving sense of community.
The Coast is a beautiful tapestry of communities, each piece coming together to create a whole. It’s the dedication and passion of local businesses and community leaders that help our area to continually grow.
