Dr. Loukatos has spent the past 17 years working in and managing emergency departments, and has the knowledge and experience to take care of any condition that walks through the door. His years of experience have taught him that most patients who end up in the ER can be cared for
in the Urgent Care setting, at a fraction of the cost and in
a more comfortable environment. It is this experience that sparked the vision for AlphaCare. Dr. Loukatos is committed to o ering a new option to patients of the Gulf Coast by providing the best possible care in an environment that is fast, friendly, and cost-e cient.

What does practicing medicine mean to you?
Medicine is an opportunity for me to serve my community and neighbors.
When it comes to health, what is one thing you wish that your patients knew?
Urgent health care does not have to be expensive or inconvenient. The Urgent Care can replace unnecessary
trips to an emergency department and save the resources of the ER for those who are in true need of ER care.
Who or what inspired you to pursue your career?
After years of practicing in and directing emergency departments, I knew that there was a more a ordable and more e cient way to provide urgent care to my community, in an environment outside of the chaos of the ER.
What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I ran with the bulls in Pamplona.
What do you like to do when it’s time to unwind?
Go to the beach, sh, and spend time with my family and friends.
