LuAnn Pappas,
CEO of the Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort, is one of just two woman casino operators on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. A New Jersey native, she serves as a commissioner on the board of Visit Mississippi Gulf Coast, board member of South Mississippi Mental Health Association and trustee of Lighthouse Business and Professional Women.
Anthony Del Vescovo,
vice president and legal counsel for Beau Rivage and Gold Strike casinos,
is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he lettered in football and earned a scholarship in wrestling. He received a Juris Doctorate degree from Southern University Law Center. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, MGCCC Gaming Advisory Committee, USM Casino Hospitality & Tourism Management Advisory Committee
and is an Executive Committee member of the Gaming Section of the Mississippi Bar.
Dina Holifield Cook,
a lifelong resident of the Coast, resides in Biloxi with her husband
Ken Cook and five-year-old son Reeves. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and a former fifth grade teacher. She currently co-owns the White Willow boutique in Gulfport and is involved in several Mardi Gras organizations.
Sean Jeffrey Tindell
is a State Senator where he serves on several key committees. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi and graduated from the Mississippi College School of Law.
He served as an assistant district attorney and was one of the first drug court prosecutors and the chief prosecutor for Hancock and Stone counties. He and his wife Claire are the parents of four children, Sam (9),
John Thomas (8), Meredith (6) and Henry (2).
