It never hurts to have a few extra hands helping out when you’re in need, or to lend a
hand to those who might need your help as well. Mutual aid agreements between the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC) in Gulfport, Mississippi, and other government entities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast help smooth the path toward giving and receiving assistance in areas where the military base and the local community can work together where they’re able.
Local and Navy firefighters work together to respond to calls both on and off base.
