FETE LA POINTE

Did you ever think that one starry-eyed look or impassioned whisper from centuries ago would be where your own story began? You may just find out on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Hilton Garden Inn of Pascagoula.
The La Pointe-Krebs Foundation is proud to finally announce the 11th Annual Fete La Pointe. Fete La Pointe is a semi- formal fundraising event that directly supports the continued maintenance and preservation of our beloved Pascagoula gem, La Pointe-Krebs (LPK) House.
LPK House, also lovingly known as Old Spanish Fort, is the oldest standing structure in not only the state of Mississippi but also the entire Mississippi Valley. With renovation having been completed, it is now of the utmost importance to maintain this beautiful home, as well as preserve the history of the beginnings of thousands of Pascagoula and Gulf Coast residents alike. This ancestry is not only the two families for which the home is named, but countless others. Whether surnames directly born of their same lineage or families who have slumbered on the sacred grounds, the historical significance is the same.
This year’s event, “L’amour, Under the Stars,” will be the celebration of love and lineage. As in years past, the evening will open with dinner and wine, followed by a cake pull for a beautiful set of pearls, as well as lovely door prizes for lucky ticket holders.
